Snow!

I remember when xiuqing told me that it will be snowing, she was very excited about it. So was my colleague Sabine. At those moments, I just 'loled' it off. I never understood what was there to be excited about. Somehow there is something beautiful about it that I never knew.
Well, I got to know about it last nite, when I saw it snowing 4am in the morning. There was this nice feeling to know that it wasn't raindrops that fell but snowflakes.
On this very night, I could feel the serenity of white all around. When the dark skies of rain were not there to make you feel depressed.

A cheer for the snow--the drifting snow;
Smoother and purer than Beauty's brow;
The creature of thought scarce likes to tread
On the delicate carpet so richly spread.
With feathery wreaths the forest is bound,
And the hills are with glittering diadems crown'd:
'Tis the fairest scene we can have below.
Sing, welcome, then, to the drifting snow

James Morrison - Broken Strings
